Join a hospital in Aventura, FL as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working in a coastal South Florida setting. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in diagnostic tests and procedures, and operate advanced imaging equipment to capture crucial cardiac and vascular data.

What You'll Need:

• CVL Tech, ACLS, BLS required.
• Cath lab experience required. EP experience preferred.
• Experience with Cath Lab equipment and documentation systems (Meditech and MacLab) preferred.
• State specific licensing when required.
• Additional preferred credentials: CVT, RCIS, and/or RT.

Minimum Requirements

• Current CVL Tech certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Demonstrated Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting. EP experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Cath, EP and IR procedures.
• Ability to participate in on-call coverage as required by the unit.
• Candidates with RCIS, CVT, or RT credentials are preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab (5 rooms).
• Shift: Days.
• Shift hours: 0700-1730.
• Patient ratio: 1:1 typical for procedural assignments.
• Documentation systems used: Meditech and MacLab.
• Call requirements: On call required.
• Dress code: Surgical scrubs provided.

About the Unit

• Procedures commonly performed: diagnostic and interventional cath, electrophysiology (EP), and interventional radiology (IR).
• Equipment: standard cath lab imaging equipment and procedural supplies.
• Team composition: unit secretaries and technologists; collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
