Description

Become a vital part of a Gainesville, FL hospital team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast per protocol, operate CT equipment, and collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient imaging services.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years CT tech experience.
  • Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology or equivalent formal training.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or ARRT certification in Radiography with CT registry eligibility as required by the client.
  • BLS certification.
  • Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT studies and trauma/emergency CT protocols in an acute care hospital setting, including head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, and angiographic series.
  • Proficiency with cross-sectional imaging consoles and PACS workflow.
  • Ability to work night shift schedules and function independently with critically ill patients.
  • Client-preferred: prior experience at large acute care hospitals or tertiary centers. This is preferred and not required.
