Description
Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working in Arlington, TX. Provide support to physicians and Cath lab personnel during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture data of the heart and vascular system. Work within a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab that performs interventional cardiac, structural heart, neuro-intervention, and peripheral vascular procedures.
What You'll Need:
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Experience with Meditech EMR and MacLab preferred.
- Experience supporting interventional cardiac, structural heart, interventional neuro, and peripheral vascular procedures preferred.
- Energetic, outgoing, and professional demeanor preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
- ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
- At least 2 years of Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- State licensure when required by Texas regulations.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR and MacLab preferred.
- Prior exposure to interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift details: Days 07:00–17:30.
- Call expectations: Part of a full call team capability 24/7; work supports two call teams at all times.
- Unit profile: Four procedure rooms and six holding rooms; typical patient ratios 1:1 for procedures and 3:1 for holding.
- EMR: Meditech. Imaging system: MacLab.
- Floating: No floating required.
- Dress code: Scrubs provided by the hospital.
