Join a hospital-based cardiac cath lab team in Orange Park, FL, and play a vital role assisting physicians and cath lab personnel in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Operate advanced imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and peripheral vasculature.

What You'll Need:

• RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) certification required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience acceptable; experience with PCI and STEMI preferred.
• Experience scrubbing for LHC/RHC, PCI, STEMI, carotid stenting, and peripheral interventions preferred.
• Ability to monitor patients intra-procedure and operate hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Familiarity with Meditech and MacLab documentation systems preferred.
• Must be able to work in a procedural environment and support prep/recovery areas as needed.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift hours: 07:30–18:00.
• Scheduling: 4–10 hour shifts per week; rotating weekends and holidays in hospital rotation.
• On-call: Two call teams; approximately 15–18 call days per month.
• Floating: May support prep/recovery areas as needed.
• Unit equipment: GE Innova, OCT, Boston IVUS, Impella, IABP, RotoPro, CSI, Penumbra.

• Procedures performed: Diagnostic left heart cath, PCI, STEMI, stroke interventions, carotid stenting, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Documentation/EMR: Meditech and MacLab.
• Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs supplied.
• Awards/recognition: Hospital has GWTG awards for CAD, Mission Lifeline, Afib, and CHF.
• Department features: Newer procedure rooms and equipment; team of 5–10 physicians and a dedicated charge nurse to manage flow.
