Are you ready to advance your career as a Cardiovascular Technologist in Douglasville, GA. Join a hospital-based cath lab team as a Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. You will assist physicians and Cath/EP lab staff, operate specialized equipment, maintain sterile technique, and contribute to quality and patient safety for adult and geriatric patients.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma required. Associate degree in Health Science, accredited Radiologic Science program, or Bachelor of Health Science preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a medical setting required. One year of specific clinical experience (LPN, RT, EMT/Paramedic) may satisfy experience requirement with high school diploma.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS required within 180 days of hire.
• Basic knowledge of cardiovascular catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, patient positioning, radiation protection, and basic electrocardiography.
• Ability to maintain sterile technique and assist in monitoring, scrubbing, or circulating roles during procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to work varied hours, scheduled cath lab on-call when allowed, and flexibility to meet departmental needs.
• Maintain current licenses and certifications as required by state and employer.
• Preferred: ARRT certification or RCIS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) certification.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00–17:00.
• Schedule pattern: Monday–Friday with occasional random weekday off as part of schedule rotation.
• Role: Procedural assistant in Cath/EP lab. Will train to perform monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating tasks and to assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• May participate in cath or EP on-call rotation once orientated and competencies verified.
