Description
Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to a regional hospital in Aurora, CO. Join a Cath Lab team and play a vital role supporting physicians and other Cath Lab personnel during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Operate advanced imaging and monitoring equipment to capture crucial data for patient care.
What You'll Need:
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) from CCI preferred. Preferred items are clearly labeled as preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years Cath Lab experience. Client requires 1-2 years Cath Lab experience; candidates without this experience may not be considered.
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
- Scrub and monitoring skills and experience.
- Experience with Philips fluoroscopy systems, Mac Lab, and CardioLab for EP preferred.
- Experience documenting in Meditech preferred.
- Ability and willingness to take on-call responsibilities. Candidate must be able to be housed within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab when on call.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab / Cath Lab procedural area.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Details: Days 0700-1700.
- Typical patient ratio: Approximately 3 staff to 1 patient in procedural area.
- Must participate in rotating weekend on-call coverage.
- Typical procedures: Left and right heart catheterizations (LHC, RHC), EP ablations, pacer/ICD implantation, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, structural heart procedures.
