Description
Become a vital part of a Montgomery, AL hospital team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients.
Minimum Requirements:
- ARRT-CT required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience with demonstrated competency in CT angiography and trauma protocols.
- Experience performing CT-guided biopsy and drainage procedures required.
- Stroke perfusion experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working with GE CT scanners preferred.
- Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or high-acuity hospital environment preferred.
- Experience using Cerner or similar EMR preferred.
- Ability to work variable patient types including adult inpatient, outpatient, ED, and occasional pediatrics.
- Willingness to float within the hospital radiology department as needed.

- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Nights.
- Shift details: Nights 2100-0900, 3x12.
- Patient ratio: Typically 1:1; average throughput approximately 4 patients/hour (about 40 patients/day).
- Orientation: 1 eight-hour hospital orientation plus 2–3 shifts on unit (dayshift overlap with another tech).
- EMR: Cerner.
- Float: Yes, floats throughout the hospital radiology department.
- Holiday and weekend expectations: Varies per hospital policy; typically one major and one minor seasonal holiday and infrequent weekend rotation.
