Description
Become a vital part of a hospital team in Cincinnati, OH as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform CT imaging examinations, administer intravenous contrast per hospital guidelines, operate CT equipment, and perform general radiographic exams as required. You will observe radiation safety standards, assist with patient transport, complete required documentation, and contribute to quality patient care.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum: 1 year of CT experience; 2 years of radiology experience preferred.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration. ARRT (CT) registration preferred.
- Active state Radiology/CT license for Ohio.
- Current BLS certification. ACLS preferred.
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic sciences program preferred.
- Experience performing CT imaging, intravenous contrast administration, and basic general radiography (including imaging of in-house patients).
- Ability to perform quality control, equipment maintenance logs, and adhere to radiation safety regulations (ODH and Joint Commission requirements).
- Willingness to participate in rotating weekend/holiday coverage and rotating emergency on-call coverage. Candidate must be willing to float to other facilities within the market as needed.
- Managers will conduct a secondary interview following clinical pre-screen. Local candidates will be considered.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Schedule format: 4-10s with approximate hours around 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Weekend rotation: every 6th weekend required and holiday coverage required.
- Responsibilities include CT procedures and basic general radiography for in-house patients.
- Will be available for rotating emergency call and may be asked to cover at other facilities within the market.

Additional Role Information:
- Performs CT imaging examinations and intravenous contrast injections in accordance with hospital guidelines.
- Prepares scanning area and equipment, maintains supplies, and cleans equipment per departmental policy.
- Transports or escorts patients to and from CT area and educates patients and families about procedures.
- Completes clerical duties and documents patient care accurately.
- Performs quality control testing, documents maintenance, and assists with departmental QA processes.
- Participates in departmental meetings, in-services, and training of students or trainees as required.
