Description
Become a vital part of a hospital team in Omaha, NE as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT imaging equipment to support high-acuity patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years CT technologist experience, including level 1 trauma experience and prior travel assignment experience required.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) — Radiography (R) required. CT certification preferred.
- BLS (AHA) required.
- Experience with Siemens CT equipment and Bracco contrast injectors preferred.
- Venipuncture competency required. Ability to perform CT angiography (CTA), cardiac and perfusion studies preferred.
- Experience working with EPIC electronic medical record and McKesson PACS.
- Ability to manage mixed patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics and to function in busy OR and ER settings.
- Must be self-motivated, able to prioritize tasks in a shifting environment, and demonstrate strong customer service and follow-up skills.
- Department and client-specific requirements: radiation badge will be provided by client; driver’s license required at submittal to verify residence relative to a 50-mile radius; artificial nails must be removed for patient care per facility policy.
- Radius rule: candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility and may not be employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit (including CHI and Dignity). RTO required within 7 days for 13-week contracts.
- Orientation: department-specific orientation approximately 36–40 hours; additional facility orientation hours noted as 12 in client materials.

- Shift schedule: Nights 1800–0700. Specific posted schedule includes 1830–0700 Friday, Saturday, Sunday and 3x12 pattern referenced.

- Set schedule. Weekend and holiday coverage as needed for the department.
- Department has 8 CT treatment areas. Work may require floating between main campus and a stand-alone urgent care/ER campus as needed.
- EMR: EPIC. PACS: McKesson.
