Description
Become a vital part of the team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast agents per protocol, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for a hospital setting in Redding, CA.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years CT technologist experience.
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program or equivalent education.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or Radiography with CT certification.
- BLS certification.
- Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT exams and IV catheter/contrast administration.
- Experience with multi-slice CT scanners and routine CT protocols, including trauma and angiographic studies.
- Experience working in an acute care hospital environment.
- Must be able to work variable 12-hour rotating shifts as required by the facility. (Client requires flexibility for rotating schedule.)
- Preferred: CT advanced cardiac or vascular imaging experience and familiarity with the facility’s PACS and RIS systems.
