Become a vital part of a hospital imaging team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast agents, perform IV starts as needed, and operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for inpatient, emergency, and outpatient populations.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years acute care CT experience required.
• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• State of Wisconsin radiologic technologist license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with stroke imaging protocols including CT angiography and CT perfusion required.
• Experience with a range of CT exams: brain/head, CTA, perfusion, abdomen, extremities, spine, pulmonary embolism studies required.
• Comfort working independently during evening hours required.
• Canon and Toshiba scanner experience highly preferred. Send for manager approval if candidate does not have this experience.
• IV starts, CT perfusion experience, and experience with biopsies/special procedures preferred. Please include these skills in the offer email if applicable.
• Minimum 2 years facility-specific experience elements: ability to work in a Level IV Trauma Center and manage ED, inpatient, and outpatient scans.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift name: Evenings.
• Schedule: 4x10 evening schedule, 12:30 pm–10:00 pm Monday–Thursday.
• Standard hours per week: 40.
• Unit staffing notes: Typically 2 CT techs for days and 1 CT tech after 18:30. Imaging patient assistant supports until 21:00. Radiology nurse available until 16:00. House supervisor available for after-hours IV support. Lead CT tech onsite during day shift. RT, MRI, and X-ray available 24/7.
• Orientation: 3 days of unit orientation.
• Weekend rotation: None.
• On call: No.
• Holiday expectations: Work if the holiday falls on your scheduled day.
• Floating: No floating to other facilities.
• EMR/PACS: Epic preferred. McKesson PACS. Pyxis medication dispensing.
• Unit culture: Close-knit, collaborative team. Scrubs: any solid professional color, no graphics or logos. Free parking provided.
