Description
Become a vital part of a Phoenix, AZ hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform CT procedures according to provider orders, administer contrast when indicated, operate CT equipment, produce diagnostic-quality images, and communicate results and pertinent clinical information to the multidisciplinary care team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT) required within 18 months of hire. (Preferred: ARRT(CT) already achieved.)
- State licensure for AZ required prior to hire. (Also applicable: WY, NV licensure where relevant.)
- BLS certification required.
- Clinical experience typically achieved with two years of CT or related radiology experience.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality CT images, perform equipment quality control, and troubleshoot imaging systems.
- Effective communication and human relations skills, and ability to analyze data and solve problems in a clinical environment.
- Client-specific requirement: Candidates must acknowledge and comply with facility additional comments and varied work schedule details prior to applying.
- Preferred: Additional related education and/or experience. Prior experience in an acute hospital setting preferred.

Standard Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY. Perform prescribed CT procedures in accordance with department policies, procedures and protocols. Ensure optimal care for the patient population. Core responsibilities include verifying and following referring provider orders, educating patients and families about procedures, producing diagnostic-quality images and documentation, and performing equipment quality control. Demonstrate professional conduct, maintain confidentiality, and support efficient department workflow. May perform invasive/interventional procedures if applicable and in accordance with facility policy. Maintain safe environment for patients and staff and adhere to regulatory and accreditation requirements.
