We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Bradenton, FL where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• Registry as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• One year experience as an RRT preferred; candidates with ICU or trauma experience will be considered first.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with ventilators and respiratory equipment such as Servo I, GE ventilators, V60, Airvo, and Vapotherm.
• Experience using Meditech or similar electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Neonatal resuscitation skills (NRP or STABLE) preferred.

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Unit: Respiratory department within a Level II trauma center.
• Shift: Nights.
• Shift hours: 1900-0700.
• Typical equipment on unit: Servo I, GE ventilators, V60, Airvo, Vapotherm.
