Description
Become a vital part of a Lincoln, NE hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast agents when indicated, and operate GE VCT 64-slice and GE Revolution 128-slice CT scanners. You will document exams in EPIC and collaborate with radiology team members to deliver patient-focused imaging services.
Minimum Requirements:
- ARRT-CT certification (Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT))
- BLS certification.
- Experience operating GE CT platforms, specifically GE VCT 64-slice and GE Revolution 128-slice (required).
- Experience with EPIC charting system.
- Radiology experience covering CT imaging with demonstrated competency in a hospital environment.
- Willingness and ability to float and provide coverage to CT, X‑ray, OR, Endoscopy, and ED as needed.
- Compliance with client requirements: possession of a valid driver’s license at submittal to verify residency relative to a 50‑mile radius rule; not currently employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity (candidates will be screened accordingly).
- Ability to meet department policies: wear no artificial fingernails and comply with radiation badge procedures provided by the client.
- Preferred: 2 years CT tech experience and prior cross‑training in general radiography.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Nights.
- Shift schedule: Nights 1900–0700 (3x12 shifts; typical pattern includes Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights per client shift notes).
- Orientation: 12 hours (1–2 unit/department specific shifts noted).
- Charting/PACS: EPIC and McKesson PACS.
- Scanners on site: Multiple CT scanners (GE VCT 64-slice and GE Revolution 128-slice required).
- Department coverage expectations: CT department includes multiple imaging modalities; travelers should expect to float to CT, XR, OR, Endo, and ED when required.
- Scheduling notes: Supervisor-controlled scheduling, weekend and holiday coverage required, and on-call/standby responsibilities apply.
