Become a vital part of Jackson HealthPros’ team as an experienced CT Technologist. You will interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials per protocol, and operate CT equipment in a hospital-based radiology department providing emergency diagnostics.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience in specialty required (client-specific).
• ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience working in an emergency department or freestanding ED imaging environment preferred.
• Experience performing both CT and diagnostic radiography (DX) for dual-modality coverage preferred.
• Experience with EPIC and PACS (Phillips iSite) preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital (freestanding emergency department imaging within hospital system).
• Shift Name: Nights.
• Shift Hours: 1900-0700.
• Duration: 13 Week travel assignment.
• Standard Hours Per Week: 40.
• On call requirement: Technologist may take 2 nights a month of call across two freestanding ED facilities; candidate has opportunity to choose the two nights.
• Orientation: 3 days departmental orientation.
• Scheduling expectations: Travelers will work approximately 75% of holidays; RTO requires manager approval.
• Department staffing: Typically 2–3 technologists per shift (1 ultrasound, 2 dual DX/CT techs depending on shift).

Facility Details and Department Information

The facility is a freestanding emergency department with 12 ED beds and onsite diagnostic imaging including DX, CT, and ultrasound. Average daily volumes approximate 28 DX/CT scans and 10 ultrasound studies. Equipment includes a GE CT scanner, Siemens S2000 ultrasound unit, and Shimadzu radiography systems. The department uses EPIC and Phillips iSite/PACS. Scrub color is black and employee parking is available in the rear of the facility. The department culture is team oriented.
