Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working in a new location. Assist physicians and Cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures. Operate advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment to capture critical data of the heart and vascular system.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent credential.
• ARRT or CCI – RCIS certification required. (Documented at time of submission.)
• Minimum 24 months of recent Cardiac/Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting. No first-time travelers; at least one travel contract completed in the prior 12 months is required.
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA or ARC (documented).
• Proficient with fluoroscopy and comfortable performing peripheral and coronary angiography, PCI, and pacemaker procedures.
• Proficiency and comfort with PCI and pacemaker procedures.
• Experience with Impella highly preferred. Additional preferred equipment experience: Acist Injector, iFR, IVUS.
• Iowa radiology license highly preferred. Non-licensed applicants may be considered but must apply for Iowa license upon offer acceptance.
• Driver's license and professional references within the last 24 months preferred. Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath required.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift: Days.
• Schedule: 5x8 hr shifts, 40 hrs/week, 06:45 start time.
• Call/Weekends: Requires 50% call, including every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Duration: 13 week travel assignment.
• Required procedure types: peripheral and coronary angiography, PCI, pacemaker procedures.
• Equipment commonly used: Artis Zee C-arm, Impella, IABP, Acist Injector.
• EMR: Epic.
