Job Opportunity: Technologist - Cath Lab (Days)

Location: Dubuque, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours
• Patients/scans per day: approximately 4
• Equipment used: Artis Zee C-arm, Impella, IABP, Acist Injector
• Types of procedures: peripheral and coronary angiography, PCI, pacemaker procedures
• Scrubs provided (light blue)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of experience in Cardiac/Cath Lab
• Prior travel experience required: must have completed at least 1 travel contract in the past 12 months (no first-time travelers)
• Proficient with fluoroscopy
• Comfortable and experienced with peripheral and coronary angiography cases
• Comfortable and experienced with PCI and pacemaker procedures
• ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Active Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; non-licensed applicants may apply but must obtain license upon offer acceptance
• Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath discipline required
• Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months preferred

Additional Information

• Orientation dates available
• Experience with Maquet IABP, Acist Injector, iFR, IVUS highly preferred
• Must be comfortable working with the listed equipment and procedures

This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab Technologists with recent travel contract experience looking for a temporary assignment in Iowa.
