Description
Become a vital part of our team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist in Phoenix, AZ. You will perform prescribed CT procedures, administer contrast materials as indicated, produce high-quality diagnostic images, perform equipment quality control, and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support timely patient care.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years CT technologist experience.
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Nuclear Medicine certification (NMTCB) acceptable where applicable.
- State licensure required for AZ prior to hire. (Applicants must hold applicable state registration for Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT.)
- Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT)) required within 18 months of hire.
- BLS certification required.
- Clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of experience in CT, including competency in performing contrast-enhanced studies and ability to troubleshoot CT equipment and QC procedures.
- Must demonstrate effective communication, human relations, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Vendor/agency applicants: candidate must be aware of requirements noted in facility additional comments and varied work schedule details prior to applying.
Assignment Details:
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 08:00–20:30.
- Duration: 13 week travel assignment.
- Must be able to perform typical direct patient care duties, including lifting up to 75 pounds and using standard precautions.
