Description

Become a vital part of a Charleston, SC hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images in an emergency department setting.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 1+ year CT technologist experience required; emergency department or hospital CT experience preferred.
  • ARRT (R)(CT) certification required.
  • SCRQSA (state or regional radiology credential) required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Experience with GE Optima 660 CT and general radiography (GE Proteus x‑ray) preferred.
  • Familiarity with Meditech or similar radiology documentation systems preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced emergency radiology environment and perform ED x‑ray and CT examinations.
  • Gray scrubs required as dress code.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital (free‑standing emergency department unit).
  • Unit: RAD/CT in an emergency department with approximately 12 ED rooms.
  • Shift: Nights, 1900–0730.
  • Shift type: 12.5‑hour shifts.
  • Scheduling requirements: Work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
  • Equipment: GE Optima 660 CT; GE Proteus x‑ray.
  • Documentation system: Meditech.
  • Floating: Not applicable to this assignment.
