Description
Become a vital part of a hospital team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials per protocol, and expertly operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images for emergency department and inpatient populations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of CT technologist experience in a Level 1 trauma setting (client requirement)
- Experience operating GE CT equipment (GE 512, GE 128, GE 32-slice) independently (client requirement)
- Ability to perform routine CT exams for ED and inpatient patients including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA (client requirement)
- ARRT Radiography required; CT certification preferred (client requirement)
- BLS certification
- Experience using Meditech for documentation preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital radiology environment averaging high CT volumes
