Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with MR credential (ARRT-MR).
• State licensure as applicable for MRI technologists.
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with neuro, spine, tumor workups, cord compression, cardiac imaging, breast, enterography, abdominal, whole body, ortho, and spectroscopy case types. Candidates lacking any of these should be submitted for manager approval.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required.
• Experience operating Siemens Aera MRI or equivalent high-field MRI scanners preferred.
• IV start capability required.
• Experience working in acute care or trauma center environments preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Acute care hospital (Level III Trauma Center, Acute Stroke Ready Center, Magnet designated).
• Shift name: Days.
• Shift details: Days 0700-1700.
• Standard hours per week: 40.
• Unit: 1 MRI suite staffed with multiple techs on weekdays and one MRI Tech plus assistant on weekends.
• Orientation: 1 shift of unit orientation required.
• EMR/PACS: EPIC required; PACS Change Healthcare.
• Floating: None.
