What You'll Need:
- Active ARRT or RCIS certification required. RCIS is acceptable in lieu of ARRT when specified by the client.
- Active American Heart Association ACLS certification required.
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- State of Texas Medical Radiologic License required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP lab cases required.
- Must have documentation for: resume, discipline-specific skills checklist (Cardiac Cath Lab), two supervisory references from within the last year, proof of taxable address, and copies of required licenses/certifications. These documents are required for submission.
- Must disclose any previous employment history with the facility as part of the profile requirements.
- Experience in a critical care setting (ICU, ED, etc.) or prior Cath/EP lab experience preferred.
- Previous travel experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift: Days.
- Schedule: 4x10, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours guaranteed.
- Weekend requirement: Weekend schedule to be determined by facility.
- Duration: 13 week assignment.
- Compact licensure accepted: Yes (must have active license at time of submission).
- Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as requested by the client.

Role Responsibilities
- Conduct specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies and electrophysiology studies.
- Serve as a resource to medical and clinical staff to ensure effective procedure workflow and patient safety.
- Assist with patient identification, preparation, draping, and room setup for procedures per protocols.
- Operate, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on special procedures equipment.
- Participate in Universal Protocol and site marking identification when applicable.
- Communicate with physicians regarding orders and protocols to ensure accurate execution of procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, and accreditation standards relevant to cardiovascular technology.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction.

- Current resume specific to Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
- Active ARRT or RCIS credential documentation.
- Active ACLS and BLS certification documentation.
- State of Texas Medical Radiologic License documentation.
- Discipline-specific skills checklist for Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Two supervisory references from within the last year.
- Proof of taxable address (driver's license, utility bill, lease/mortgage statement, or similar).
