Description
Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights? Join a hospital team in Dallas, TX as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise. Provide technical support during cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular and electrophysiology procedures. Operate and maintain advanced imaging and monitoring equipment to capture diagnostic images and data. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to promote safe, efficient patient care and participate in Universal Protocol and site marking when applicable.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active ARRT or RCIS certification required. ARRT or RCIS must be documented prior to start.
- Active American Heart Association ACLS certification required.
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- Active State of Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT/LMRT) license required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in special procedures or Cath/EP cases required.
- Must disclose any previous employment history with the facility in the candidate profile.
- Resume required.
- Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath Lab required.
- Two supervisory references from within the last year required.
- Proof of taxable address documentation required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a critical care setting such as ICU or ED preferred.
- Previous Cath/EP Lab setting experience preferred.
- Previous travel assignment experience highly preferred.
Assignment Details
- 10 hour shifts/40 hours guaranteed.
- Weekend schedule to be determined by facility.
- Candidates may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.

Impacting the Quality of Care for Patients Nationwide
Provide technical and procedural support during invasive cardiovascular procedures to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. Maintain and calibrate specialized equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot to preserve equipment operability. Participate in process improvement efforts, update protocols in accordance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, and integrate continuing education and best practices into daily workflows.
