Description

Become a vital part of a Macon, GA hospital as an experienced CT Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to support inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department care in a Level 1 trauma, teaching hospital setting.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 4 years CT experience required.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with CT modality certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform IV starts.
  • Experience working with EPIC electronic medical record preferred.
  • Experience with Philips PACS and GE CT scanners preferred.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume hospital or trauma center preferred.

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Shift name: Nights.
  • Shift details: Nights 1900-0700.
  • Schedule: 3x12 night schedule.
  • Standard hours per week: 36.
  • Patient types: Inpatients, outpatients, emergency department patients.
  • Department equipment: Philips PACS, GE CT scanners.
  • Floating: Will float between inpatient areas and ER as needed.
  • Orientation: New employee orientation plus 1 day departmental orientation.
  • Holiday expectations: Required to work holidays that fall during contract.

Department census averages around 100 patients per day. Minimum accepted traveler status: not accepting first-time travelers. Scrub color: black. Parking fee applies for deck parking. Department culture described as inclusive.
