Join our team as an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Salem, MA. In this role, you will perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease for a hospital-based imaging department and offsite clinic locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography with Mammography credentials.
• Current Massachusetts Radiology and Mammography license.
• Documentation of digital mammography training (8 hours) and tomosynthesis training (8 hours).
• Documentation of 15 hours of continuing education in mammography within the past 3 years.
• Documentation of recent mammography statistics within the past 2 years.
• Minimum 2 years of mammography technologist experience preferred.
• Experience performing screening and diagnostic mammograms required.
• Experience performing stereotactic biopsies preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently and maintain flexibility in a variable schedule.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Assignment Details:

• Facility Type: Hospital with associated offsite imaging locations.
• Shift: Days, Monday through Friday.
• Shift Hours: 07:30 to 16:00.
• Schedule: Varies week to week based on department needs; shift lengths may be 8, 10, or 12 hours totaling approximately 36–40 hours per week.
• Weekend Requirement: Candidate may provide coverage on Saturdays; typical Saturday shifts occur in the morning (for example, 08:00–12:00 or 07:45–11:45).
• Float Requirement: Candidate will provide coverage at the hospital and various offsite locations within approximately a 10-mile radius.
