Become a vital part of Jackson HealthPros’ team as an experienced CT Tech. You will accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for a hospital in Boston, MA.

Minimum Requirements:

• Level 1 trauma experience required.
• Siemens CT experience required.
• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
• Registered or eligible for CT certification by ARRT or equivalent. Must obtain and maintain CT certification and registration within one year of start of employment (preferred if already certified).
• At least 2-3 years experience as a radiologic technologist preferred, with a minimum of one year of cross-sectional anatomy coursework or equivalent experience.
• Experience performing venipuncture for contrast administration and following hospital contrast policies.
• Ability to operate CT equipment including power injector, patient monitoring devices, and PACS/RIS workflows.
• BLS certification.
• Interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients under physical or emotional stress.
• Analytical abilities to apply imaging techniques, procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy knowledge.

• Shift details: Nights 1900-0730.
• Hours: 36 hours per week.
• Shift includes weekends.
• Shift is not rotating.
• Must float among radiology clinics and divisions associated with the hospital as needed.
• May require on-call coverage and flexible overtime as necessary.

Position duties include operating CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images per protocol, patient preparation and positioning, equipment calibration and troubleshooting, executing RIS/PACS tasks, performing venipuncture for contrast, participating in quality assurance and research activities, instructing and overseeing students or other personnel when required, and transporting patients according to departmental guidelines. Staff will be expected to maintain CEUs in accordance with Massachusetts licensure and ARRT requirements.
