Description

Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a multidisciplinary team that values clinical skill and professionalism. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, operate advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment, and support high-acuity patient care in a hospital-based Heart and Vascular Tower.


What You'll Need:

  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT Radiologic Technologist. RCIS preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting preferred. Critical Care or Cath Lab experience required for consideration.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Experience with EPIC/Cupid documentation preferred.
  • Experience with invasive cardiology equipment and procedures, including IVUS, Shockwave, DFR, FFR, Rotablator, IABP, Impella, and temporary pacing devices.
  • Demonstrated competence with right and left heart caths (RHC/LHC), complex PCI, CTO interventions, and structural heart procedures preferred.
  • State licensure where applicable.


Minimum Requirements / Client Specific Requirements:

  • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS.
  • Required clinical background: Critical care and Cath Lab experience. ICU or ER experience is required by the client.
  • Procedural experience required or strongly preferred: RHC/LHC, Complex PCI, CTO interventions. Structural heart experience (TAVR, TMVR, Mitral Clips, Watchman, PFO/ASD/VSD closures) preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with advanced Cath Lab devices: IABP, Impella CP & RP, TVP placement.
  • Experience using EPIC/Cupid electronic documentation systems preferred.
  • Ability to function within 3-lab interventional environment (2 dedicated cath labs and 1 hybrid OR) with 1:1 patient ratios and team staffing model (2 techs and 2 RNs typical).
  • Compliance with facility dress code for clinical staff (tech colors noted by client).

  • Facility type: Hospital, Heart and Vascular Tower (Cath Lab — Interventional Labs).
  • Shift: Days.
  • Shift hours: 0700-1730.
  • Schedule format: 10-hour shifts (client schedules typically 4–10-hour shifts with call requirements).
  • Call requirements: Includes on-call responsibilities as part of scheduling model.
