We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Galax, VA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board for Virginia.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• One year experience as an RRT in an acute care or hospital setting preferred; candidates with relevant experience in emergency services, surgery, or critical care are preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• All required certifications and credentials must be current prior to start.
