Description
Become a vital part of a Birmingham, AL hospital team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast agents, perform venipuncture, and operate Philips CT scanner equipment across inpatient, emergency, and outpatient settings.
Minimum Requirements:
- ARRT (CT) certification required.
- Minimum 2 years CT experience in inpatient, emergency, and outpatient settings.
- Minimum 1 year travel experience as a technologist preferred.
- Experience with stroke imaging required.
- Experience with venipuncture required.
- Experience with guided needle procedures or coronary CTA preferred.
- Experience operating Philips CT scanner required.
- Experience in Level II or Level III trauma environments required.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program preferred.
- BLS certification preferred.
Assignment Details:
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Unit: Radiology CT.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Schedule: 7 on / 7 off pattern.
- Shift Pattern A: 3x12s — Thursday and Friday 7:30am–8:00pm; Saturday 7:00am–7:30pm.
- Shift Pattern B: 4x10s — Sunday 7:00am–5:30pm; Monday–Wednesday 7:30am–6:00pm.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks.
- Candidate must be able to work in inpatient, emergency, and outpatient environments.
