Description
Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- MRI advanced level certification and state licensure for Pennsylvania.
- Minimum 2 years experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or acute care setting. (Preferred: experience in a Level I/II trauma center or tertiary care hospital.)
- BLS certification.
- Experience performing a full range of MRI exams, including cross-sectional neuro and body imaging, and familiarity with 1.5T and 3.0T scanners.
- Experience following MRI safety protocols, screening patients for implants and contraindications, and managing patient anxieties or claustrophobia.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams.
- Preferred: prior experience with PACS, electronic health record systems, and contrast administration protocols.

- Shift Pattern: 3x12.
- Shift Hours: AM 12 (12-hour day shifts).
- Assignment Length: 13 week assignment.
- Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities within the hospital system as needed.
