Assist physicians and cath lab personnel in diagnostic tests and procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture crucial data of the heart and vascular system.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy certification required.
• Current cath lab experience required. Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, airway management, and vasoactive drips (for example Integrilin, dopamine) and balloon pump management.
• Experience with cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention procedures preferred.
• Experience charting in Cerner preferred.
• MSP/agency requirement: No first-time travelers accepted.
• Will not accept RCIS or CCT in lieu of ARRT/Fluoro.
• STEMI receiving facility experience preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

• ARRT certification (required).
• Fluoroscopy certification (required).
• BLS certification (required).
• Current cath lab experience in a hospital setting (required).
• Comfort with conscious/moderate sedation and procedural airway management (required).
• Experience managing cardiac drips and intra-aortic balloon pump or similar device (required).
• Experience with high-volume case mixes including coronary, peripheral, vascular, neuro, and EP procedures (preferred).
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic charting system (preferred).

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Primary specialty: Cath Lab Tech.
• Shift name: Days.
• Shift pattern: 4x10s.
• Shift notes: Days, 10s, every other week schedule, call required.
• Orientation: 12 hours.
• Case volume: Average 10–22 cases per day across 5 suites (coronary, peripheral, vascular/neuro, EP).
• Call/weekday requirement: Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases, approximately 1x/week.
• Weekend call requirement: Approximately 1 weekend per month; weekend call may run from Friday evening through Monday morning and is subject to change.
• Agency provides traveler with radiation badge.
• Cancellations: Hospital may cancel shifts per facility cancellation policy.
