Description
Become a vital part of a Chicago, IL hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician imaging orders, administer contrast materials, operate GE CT equipment, and support care for trauma, stroke, inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years CT technologist experience required.
- Active ARRT (CT) certification required.
- Active IEMA (CT) licensure required.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required.
- Level I trauma center experience required.
- Experience with GE CT equipment required.
- Strong IV skills and comfort with power injectors required.
- Experience in fast-paced environments caring for trauma and stroke patients preferred.
- Experience with EPIC electronic charting preferred.
Assignment Details:
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Days.
- Standard hours per week: 40.
- Duration: 13 week travel assignment.
- Patient types: Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Department.
- Level of care: Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level III Perinatal Center, teaching hospital.
- Typical patient ratio: 1:1 for imaging support.
- Orientation: 1 day on unit.
- Weekend rotation: every other weekend.
- Call: No.
- Charting/equipment systems: EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis.
- Scrub color: gray.
- Parking: On-site parking available; public transit access via CTA Brown Line within minutes.
