Description
Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience working in hospital or freestanding emergency department settings preferred.
- Ability to operate common ultrasound equipment and perform standard sonographic exams.
- Night shift experience preferred.
- Float requirement: candidate must be willing to support ultrasound needs at multiple free-standing emergency department locations as needed.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital with coverage responsibilities for freestanding emergency departments.
- Shift name: Nights.
- Shift days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
- Shift hours: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
- Float: Yes, night shift sonographer supports ultrasound needs at other freestanding ED locations.
