We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• One year experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting preferred. Client requires experience working with ventilator management and arterial blood gas sampling.
• BLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience operating invasive and non-invasive ventilators, performing tracheostomy care, suctioning, and bedside respiratory procedures such as arterial puncture. Experience with capnography and 12-lead EKG monitoring preferred.
• Ability to perform patient transport and assist with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube management per policy.
• Clinical documentation skills including respiratory care record charting and charge capture.
