Description
Become a vital part of a hospital team in Pueblo, CO as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to perform routine and advanced CT studies for an area healthcare facility.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of CT technologist experience.
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program or equivalent education.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography and CT (ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT)).
- Current BLS certification (AHA).
- Experience performing routine CT exams including head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, CTA head and chest, and calcium scoring.
- Experience starting IVs as part of contrast administration.
- Proficiency with Synapse PACS and EPIC Radiant charting systems.
- Demonstrated ability to operate GE CT scanners.
- Ability to complete a 12-hour department orientation when in-house.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required by scheduling.
- Must be able to obtain and wear a personal radiation dosimeter (traveler must provide RAD badge).
- Travel radius requirement: able to work within a 60-mile radius and provide a valid driver’s license.
- Preferred: prior experience in a hospital radiology/CT department and familiarity with high-volume workflows (average 30–40 studies per day).

- Shift Hours: 0600–1800 (12-hour day shifts).
- Schedule Pattern: 3x12 shifts.
- Weekend Requirement: Yes.

- Orientation: 12 hours department-specific orientation provided in-house during orientation week.
- Charting/EHR: EPIC Radiant.
- PACS: Synapse.
- Scanners: 2 CT scanners (GE).
- Floating: No floating to other areas required.
