Become a vital part of a community hospital team as an experienced CT Technologist. You will perform CT imaging according to physician orders, administer contrast agents safely, operate and troubleshoot CT equipment, and document procedures in the charting system. You will collaborate with technologists, radiologists, nursing, and ancillary staff to support patient care in an acute care setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years CT Technologist experience.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology or equivalent.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or CT. ARRT (CT) verification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with CT contrast administration and related patient monitoring.
• Experience using Cerner or ability to learn Cerner charting system.
• Area specific exam required prior to clinical practice at this facility.
• Preferred: Experience working in critical access or small rural hospital environments.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital (critical access hospital, 25 beds).
• Shift name: Days.
• Shift pattern: 4x10s.
• Orientation: 12 hours orientation plus departmental competencies; general orientation includes classroom sessions, mask fit, HR paperwork, workplace violence training, hands-on practice, and unit preceptor time.
• EMR: Meditech used for facility operations; Cerner used for charting.
• Equipment commonly used: Alaris IV pumps, GE cardiac monitors, Omnicell medication dispensing.
• Travelers must complete ACE Modules and My Journey education modules prior to or during first week of orientation when possible.
• Parking: Free designated employee lot.
• Cafeteria: On-site for breakfast and lunch; vending machines available.

Location Highlights

The area offers outdoor recreation and easy access to regional cities. New Hogan Lake is approximately 11 miles away and provides boating, fishing, water skiing, hiking, and camping. California Caverns is about 10 miles from town and features an extensive cave system with historical ties to the Gold Rush. The community is small and quiet with an inviting atmosphere, while Sacramento is roughly a 1-hour drive and San Francisco is about 2 hours away, enabling periodic access to urban amenities.

Additional Information

Area facility provides inpatient acute care, outpatient services, and emergency services with several specialty care offerings. Orientation sessions are scheduled once per month; start dates must align with orientation availability. Dress code restricts hoodies, sweatshirts, and sweat jackets.
