Description
Become a vital part of a Charlotte, NC hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials safely, and operate CT equipment to support emergency and diagnostic care.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT or dual DX/CT technologist role.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Skilled in both diagnostic radiography (DX) and CT imaging for dual-modality assignments.
- Experience working in emergency or urgent care settings preferred, including handling trauma, motor vehicle collision, shortness of breath, falls, and acute injuries.
- Experience with GE CT scanners, Siemens ultrasound systems, and Shimadzu radiography equipment preferred.
- Ability to work within an EPIC EMR environment preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift: Nights, 1900-0700.
- Standard hours per week: 36.
- Schedule expectation: 3 x 12 night pattern per week.
- On-call: Technologist may take 2 nights per month of call for nearby freestanding emergency departments; opportunity to self-select call nights.
- Orientation: 3 days departmental orientation.
- Holiday coverage: Travelers expected to work approximately 75% of holidays.
- Floating: May include coverage for up to two freestanding ED facilities as part of call rotation.

The area supports an urban lifestyle with nearby suburban communities along Lake Norman and Lake Wylie within 30–45 minutes for waterfront recreation.
