Description
Become a vital part of a Myrtle Beach, SC hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast agents, and operate CT and diagnostic radiology equipment for a free-standing emergency department within a hospital system.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years CT technologist experience.
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current ARRT (Radiography) certification required.
- State radiologic technologist license for South Carolina (SCQRSA) required.
- BLS certification required.
- Proficiency with CT procedures and diagnostic radiography required.
- Experience operating GE 64-slice CT and GE digital x-ray systems preferred.
- Experience with Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems preferred.
Assignment Details:
- Facility type: Hospital (free-standing emergency department imaging).
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 07:00–19:00.
- Typical patient volume: approx. 10–20 CT exams per shift; 1 technologist per shift.
- Call requirement: 2 call shifts per month.
- Must be able to function independently in a small, fast-paced ED imaging environment.
