Description
Become a vital part of Jackson HealthPros’ team as an experienced CT Tech. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment for a hospital-based free-standing emergency department.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years CT Tech experience
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- SC Radiologic Technologist license (SCQRSA) required
- CT experience or CT certification preferred. CT knowledge and proficiency required for routine CT procedures
- BLS certification
- Proficiency in diagnostic radiology and CT, including operation of GE 64-slice CT and routine diagnostic x-ray
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital (free-standing Emergency Department)
- Shift: Nights. 1900-0700
- Typical workload: Single CT/Radiology technologist per shift; approximately 10–20 CT exams per shift
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Equipment: GE 64-slice CT, GE digital x‑ray, GE portable x‑ray
- Call requirement: Approximately 2 call shifts per month
