Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (MR and R). ARRT (MR) and ARRT (R) required.
• California Radiologic Technologist state license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• MRI-trained California Radiologic Technologist per unit director requirements.
• Experience with GE short bore MRI systems and associated software preferred.
• Experience using Cerner charting system preferred.
• Required orientation: 12 hours.
• Required references: two supervisory references from the submitting modality at time of submittal; one reference within 12 months and one within 3 years (preferred requirement of unit).
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year. PRN employment through outside firms will be considered.
• Preferred certifications: ARRT (CT) and Fluoro permit.

Assignment Details:

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Unit: MRI.
• Shift name: Days.
• Shift pattern: 12-hour shifts, scheduled Friday, Saturday, Sunday (0700–1930 start time provided by unit director).
• Call requirement: Required. Eight call shifts per month covering 1900–0700 with a 30-minute response time when placed on call.
• Charting system: Cerner.
• Orientation hours: 12 hours.
• Assignment duration: 13-week assignment.
