Become a vital part of a hospital imaging team as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist in Cudahy, WI. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials per protocol, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic-quality studies for a community hospital setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1-3 years CT experience in a hospital setting required.
• 1-3 years radiology experience in a hospital preferred.
• Current ARRT certification in CT and X-ray required.
• Valid Wisconsin state license required when applying.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Toshiba/Canon Aquilion CT scanners preferred.
• Experience using PACS (McKesson) and EMR systems (Epic) preferred.
• Ability to perform both CT and diagnostic radiography as part of dual responsibilities.

Role Overview and Responsibilities:

• Position patients and adjust equipment and immobilization devices to obtain diagnostic-quality CT and radiographic images.
• Select appropriate radiographic techniques based on patient condition and anatomy.
• Obtain and record patient history pertinent to the exam for Radiologist review.
• Administer contrast agents according to established protocols and monitor patient response.
• Operate CT scanners and PACS to acquire, review, and transfer images.
• Work with imaging assistants, transport staff, and department reception to support patient flow.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.

• Patient population: General medical and surgical inpatients and outpatients; no neurosurgery or cardiac specialty required.
• Minimum experience expectation: 1 year of hospital CT experience; first-time travelers are accepted.
• Orientation and support: Department imaging assistant, transport, reception, and telemetry resources available.
