Description
Become a vital part of a Charlotte, NC hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning orders, administer contrast agents, and operate CT imaging systems to support emergency, inpatient, observation, and outpatient care.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years CT technologist experience required.
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiologic program or equivalent education.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with advanced registry in CT required.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience performing venous and arterial phase scanning and multi-phase protocols, including stroke imaging with perfusion.
- Experience starting peripheral IVs and performing CT-guided invasive procedures.
- Familiarity with cardiac CT imaging protocols preferred due to department practice on day shift.
- TeraRecon experience preferred but not required.
- Experience with EMR/RIS/PACS workflows. Experience with EPIC, Epic Radiant, and Philips iSite is preferred.
- Ability to work in a high-volume hospital environment averaging approximately 160 studies per weekday and 120 per weekend.
- Willingness to follow facility radius rule requiring travelers to reside at least 50 miles from the home unit.

- Equipment: Siemens Definition AS 40, Siemens Force, Siemens Edge+, and Bayer/Medrad power injectors

Notes and Additional Information:
Department performs CT-guided invasive procedures and may perform cases with anesthesia as needed. Cardiac CT is performed on day shift seven days per week. Travelers may be accepted as first-time travelers. Administrative onboarding and departmental orientation include weekday training even if assigned shifts are weekends. Radius requirement applies for traveler eligibility.
