Description
Become a vital part of a Charlotte, NC hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment to produce diagnostic images for emergency, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years CT technologist experience required.
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent educational credential.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with Advanced Registry in CT required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Experience performing venous and arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning, stroke imaging including perfusion, and colorectal studies.
- Ability to start peripheral IVs.
- Experience with CT-guided invasive procedures and working with anesthesia for cases as needed preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC (EMR), Epic Radiant (RIS), and Philips iSite (PACS) preferred.
- Experience with Siemens CT scanners (e.g., Definition AS, Force, Edge +) and power injectors preferred.
- TeraRecon knowledge preferred, not required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume hospital radiology environment preferred.

- Shift details: Evenings 1400-2400.
- Schedule: 4x10.
- Standard hours per week: 40.
- Patient types: Emergency Department, inpatient, observation, and outpatient.
- Department performs cardiac CT imaging on day shift; evenings position may support other CT services and CT-guided invasive procedures.
- Orientation: Administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review) plus 2 days to 1 week departmental orientation as needed.
- Floating: No.
