Become a vital part of the care team as an experienced CT Technologist. You will administer contrast, operate CT scanners, perform multi-phase and stroke perfusion imaging, and support inpatient, ED, observation, and outpatient studies at a hospital in Charlotte, NC.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years CT Technologist experience required.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with advanced registry in CT.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with venous and arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning, and stroke imaging including perfusion.
• Ability to start peripheral IVs.
• Experience performing Cardiac CT imaging preferred.
• TeraRecon knowledge preferred but not required.

Assignment Details:

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift hours: 0800-1600.
• Schedule: 5x8.
• Duration: 13 Week travel assignment.
• Department supports CT-guided invasive procedures and performs cases with anesthesia as needed.
• EMR: Epic. RIS: Epic Radiant. PACS: Philips iSite.
• Department equipment: Siemens Definition AS 40, Siemens Force, Siemens Edge+ CT scanners; Bayer/Medrad power injectors.
• Floating: No.
• Orientation: 1 day administrative onboarding; 2 days to 1 week departmental orientation as needed.

Standard Job Description:

Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment. Support timely, high-quality imaging for a range of patient settings including ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient. Provide patient care, safety, and documentation in the department’s EMR and imaging systems.

Additional Notes:

• Minimum years of experience required: 2 years.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Department average studies: approximately 160 studies per weekday and 120 studies on weekends.
• Department is TJC Stroke accredited and performs Cardiac CT imaging on day shift seven days a week.
