Description
Become a vital part of a hospital team in Atlantis, FL as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images. You will collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to support patient care in an acute care setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT.
- Valid Florida Department of Health license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
- Experience with GE CT equipment.
- Experience using Meditech or similar EMR systems.
- Ability to perform CT procedures including body, neuro, and trauma imaging and assist with related modalities (MRI, X‑ray) as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a teaching hospital or tertiary care center.
- Additional certifications or training relevant to advanced CT procedures.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0900-2100.
- Call requirements: 4-6 shifts per month, may include scheduled on‑call coverage on days off.
- May be required to float to other local facilities as needed.
