Join a Boston, MA hospital as a Computed Tomography Technologist. Under general supervision and following established protocols, you will operate CT equipment, power injectors, and patient monitoring devices to acquire diagnostic images for physician interpretation. You will prepare patients, select imaging factors, administer contrast per policy, perform venipuncture for contrast administration, and complete required Radiology Information System functions including image transfer to PACS. The role includes equipment calibration checks, reporting malfunctions, participating in quality improvement and research activities, and maintaining professional communication with clinical teams. You will be expected to float among radiology clinics and divisions as needed and to assist with training of students and other staff when appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography and CT (ARRT CT required and must be maintained).
• Level 1 trauma experience required.
• Experience with Siemens CT equipment required.
• Experience performing venipuncture for contrast administration and knowledge of contrast administration policies.
• Ability to operate CT scanners, power injectors, PACS, and Radiology Information Systems.
• Interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients under physical or emotional stress.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of radiologic technologist experience preferred, including at least one year of cross-sectional anatomy coursework or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 07:00–19:30.
• Shift Days: Varied days; not a rotating shift.
• Work hours per week: 36.
• May be required to float among radiology clinics and divisions associated with the hospital.
• May be required to assume on-call coverage and work overtime as needed.
