Become a vital part of a hospital team in Redwood City, CA as an experienced CT Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT scanning equipment to produce diagnostic images for emergency, inpatient, operative, and outpatient populations.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years CT Technologist experience.
• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography and ARRT (CT) or equivalent CT certification.
• State of California radiologic technologist certification as required for Rad Techs and modality-specific permits where applicable.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with Siemens CT scanners (64- and/or 128-slice) preferred.
• Experience using Cerner for radiology charting preferred.
• Fluoroscopy permit preferred for Rad Techs who will perform OR and routine fluoroscopic cases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hospital radiology experience covering ER, OR, inpatient, and outpatient workflows.
• Cross-coverage skills in mammography, ultrasound, or general radiography are a plus.
• Venipuncture experience is a plus.
• Experience working on 12-hour night shifts preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 3 x 12-hour night shifts.
• Orientation: approximately 12 hours; modality- and experience-based orientation durations vary (1 day to 1 week depending on prior experience and modality).
• EMR: Cerner charting system.
• Equipment: Siemens CT (64- and 128-slice); Philips ultrasound.
• Typical scheduling model: patients scheduled roughly one per hour to accommodate ER and inpatient needs.
• May be required to float within the hospital radiology departments as operational needs dictate.
