Become a vital part of a hospital radiology team in Chandler, AZ as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials as indicated, and operate CT equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging for emergency, inpatient, and stroke/trauma populations. Cerner is used for charting and the department operates Siemens scanners.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years recent CT technologist experience. Recent defined as within the past 6 months.
• Current ARRT certification. MRTBE CT/ARRT or equivalent CT credential required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must have CT-specific ARRT credential and CT radiation badge.
• Experience with high-volume environments, including stroke, trauma, ER, and inpatient studies. Average department volume approximately 300 studies per day.
• Experience using Cerner charting system.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Siemens CT experience preferred.
• Level I trauma experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1800 - 0700.
• Rotation includes varied night schedules: examples include 2000 - 0630 Monday–Thursday and 1830 - 0700 Friday–Sunday based on departmental needs.
• Call requirement. Call frequency cycles include every 4th or 5th week with approximately 1 hour response time.
• Department orientation: 12 hours in-person CT orientation with departmental packet.
• Department uses two scanners with two technologists per scanner.
• Holiday coverage required.

Impacting Patient Care

As a CT Technologist in this hospital, you will support critical, time-sensitive imaging for stroke and trauma patients. Your role contributes to rapid diagnosis and treatment decisions for emergency and inpatient populations. You will work within a radiology department that uses tele-radiology for off-shifts and has an on-site radiologist during daytime hours.
