Become a vital part of a hospital in Lorain, OH as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform CT imaging examinations, administer intravenous contrast according to hospital guidelines, prepare equipment and scanning areas, transport or escort patients, perform quality control testing, and document patient care. You will observe radiation safety guidelines and assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked department. You will support patient experience goals while collaborating with radiologists, technologists, and other staff to deliver quality care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be ARRT(R) registered.
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required.
• At least 2 years of radiology experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ohio Department of Health license for Radiologic Technologist required.
• Experience with GE CT scanners required (examples: 580W Wide Bore 16-slice, Optima 64-slice).
• Ability to start IVs and administer contrast per hospital policy.
• Ability to work independently and handle a variable daily exam volume.
• Willingness to be available for rotating emergency call and possibly cover other market facilities as requested.

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT(CT) registration preferred.
• ACLS preferred.
• Prior experience in a hospital CT department with multiple scanners preferred.

Assignment Details

• 12-hour night shifts. Scheduled weekend shifts: Saturday 12:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m., Sunday 12:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m., Monday 12:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m.
• Typical department census: 70–130 exams daily; later evening/overnight volumes approximately 20–30 exams.
• Unit has two CT scanners. Candidate must have GE CT experience.
• Will not be required to float outside of CT.
