Become a vital part of Jackson HealthPros’ team as an experienced CT Tech! You’ll accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for an area healthcare facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years CT Tech experience 
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) certification
• California CTI certification

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 12:00 PM - 12:30 AM
• Shift Days: Friday - Sunday
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: 1 major and 1 minor holiday
• Call Requirement: Yes, 30-minute response time
• Floating: First to float and may float to another nearby facility
• Charting System: Cerner
• EMR/PACS: Radnet and Merge Unity
• Equipment: Canon 16-slice scanner
• Scrub Color: Teal

Location Highlights

Bakersfield offers access to outdoor recreation and regional travel routes in California’s southern Central Valley. The Kern River Parkway Trail runs for about 30 miles through the city, and Hart Memorial Park sits about 10 miles northeast with lakes, picnic areas, and hiking access.
