Description
Become a vital part of a Hartford, CT hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images that inform patient care. Experience with Siemens CT scanners and Epic EMR is beneficial.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years CT technologist experience.
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- BLS certification.
- Experience using Epic electronic medical record preferred.
- Experience operating Siemens CT scanners preferred.
- Willingness to be on-call to cover additional evening shifts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous hospital-based CT experience.
- Familiarity with contrast administration protocols and emergency response for contrast reactions.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 1500–2330.
- Evening shift with on-call coverage for consecutive shifts to cover evenings 1–2 nights per week.
- Ability to work holidays according to coverage needs.

Impacting Patient Care
As a CT technologist in this role, you will contribute to timely, accurate diagnostics that influence treatment plans. You will work within a multidisciplinary team and support high-quality imaging services for inpatients and outpatients.
